After a wonderful summer and fall season, it has been nice to have some time to visit family and work on projects for this coming year. Thanksgiving was absolutely delightful as our three grown children, our daughter-in-law, plus our daughter's boyfriend, and guests from various states gathered around our table for dinner and to share together. We also had the privilege of seeing our family during Christmas and in January.
The days seem to fly by as we have been busy evaluating, organizing and making small changes which we hope will make your stay more comfortable. One big project is the expansion of the Wildflower Gift Shop! The small building on our property (former screen printing business), is being renovated to house "Wildflower Gifts and Collectibles." You will still find our wonderful assortment of jams, shirts, mugs and art work. Now you will also find additional gift items, some of which are original hand crafted. Lots of fun collectibles will also be on hand such as vintage coins, sports cards, books and more. You may even find a piece of Wildflower history to take home with you!
If you've got "cabin fever" this winter, a couple of nights at the Wildflower will help you to melt away the cold. Don't forget about our special packages - available for Valentine's or anytime. If you are hunting for a real
bargain, our mid-week special which gives you a generous discount and still includes our full breakfast in the morning.
As we see the flowers which are already popping up out of the ground, it is a reminder that spring and summer will soon be here. Now is the best time to plan for your visit to Mountain View and the Wildflower. Give us a call, we look forward to hearing from you.
Warm regards,
JR & Pam Rivera
